waiting for time to past

I always end up making the same mistakes,
somehow the saying once bitten twice shy don't work on me.

I suspected it, and now yes I know its a fact.
Suspecting is hurtful enough,
but knowing that its a fact is way worst.

Nevermind the fact, I'll still hold on - hoping one day everything will be just be fine.

I'm downright dumb isn't it, holding on to a heart breaking fact.
I'm just like any other girl.
